Christy is a WAHM & WOHM to three beautiful children: Kaden (7), Audrey (5) & Hanna (2).  While life is very busy as a mom and wife to husband, Murray, she loves to help families learn more about cloth diapering through her cloth diaper venues. She started cloth diapering soon after the birth of her first son, believing that there must be a better way than using disposables...she and her husband were tired of throwing away so many diapers.  After reducing their family to a single income, economically, cloth diapering seemed like a smarter choice.  In May 2006, Christy, with the support of her husband and family started a cloth diaper store, www.maineclothdiaper.com both online and a brick & mortar boutique in Damariscotta, Maine.  She has successfully helped many families with their cloth diapering adventures.

In 2007 she gave birth to her 3rd child, Hanna and proudly wore her daughter while helping customers in her retail location and employed other baby-wearing mamas to work by her side.  In 2009 she purchased www.huggabuns.com , a wholesale company and cloth diapering site.  In Spring of 2010 she acquired www.diaperjungle.com seeing this as an opportunity to further the diapering cause - as well as a wise business move.  She is proud to be the new owner of Diaper Jungle and is excited to expand the site to meet a wider audience.  Welcome to the Jungle!

Katie is a WAHM of a 3 yr old daughter, Amelia and was born and raised in Maine but now resides in Massachusetts. She is a staunch cloth diapering advocate and has dedicated much of her free time in the past 3 years to educating herself and her peers in the subjects of cloth diapering, extended breast feeding, co-sleeping as well as many other natural family living subjects. Her daughter Amelia was breastfed for close to 3 years before self-weaning and was exclusively cloth diapered from the day she was born.

Katie has her bachelor's degree in Music as well as her MBA - and she works as a marketer, a researcher and an article and blog writer, mostly on subjects pertaining to natural family living subject matter. She has dedicated her life to helping others learn to successfully cloth diaper, successfully breastfeed and to help keep their living environments as chemical and pollutant free as possible. She is happy to join the Diaper Jungle Expert Team and looks forward to helping answer everyone's questions and participating in discussions!

Sherrie is a WAHM of four small children ages 7, 5, 3, and 8 months and wife to her husband of 13 years. She has a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and taught first and second grade before starting her family in 2001. Sherrie has extensive first-hand experience as a nursing mother. Collectively, she has nursed her children for a total of sixty-three months and counting. Her family has been amazed at her persistence and dedication to breastfeeding. With each new child came new nursing challenges. Overcoming these obstacles has given her an extensive knowledge base from which she draws on now to help other mothers during peer counseling sessions.

Sherrie's decisions about how to raise her family have vastly changed since her first baby was born. She has researched and implemented various methods of birthing, sleeping, feeding and general child rearing. When she first became pregnant, she knew she wanted to use cloth diapers on her babies. She tried several different types of cloth diapers on her first child but became increasingly frustrated as diaper after diaper failed to meet her needs. It wasn't until after her second child was born that she found cloth systems that worked for her - she's never looked back!

In 2006, Sherrie became the owner of Itty Bitty Baby Bunz, LLC. This acquisition placed her on the leading edge of the "green movement" in her area, as she is one of only a small handful of natural parenting business owners in Arkansas. As a mother and entrepreneur, she is able to stay informed of new developments in the cloth diaper market. She is always learning and growing as the needs of her customers change and the supplies of the industry improve. Sherrie enjoys helping others and is willing to share her opinions for free!
